    polystyrene

You could silicone it to the base but if it is very narrow I don't think the silicone would hold.

    polystyrene

Remember it is very bouyant so will need to go under tank bracing or something to hold it in place.
  3. Make sure the indestructable goldfish don't eat the minnows but I think most say they are too fast for the goldfish to catch. Don't know if our minnows are the same as yours in the UK.

    Bronze Cories

It only takes one of each Haven't spawned them but someone who did said she dropped them into tank which turned very green shortly after (due to neglect) and forgot about them for a few weeks
  5. They will probably want to know how you would deal with various scenarios to get an idea of how you would cope under pressure. If they ask if you have any questions, be sure to tell them that most of your questions had been answered on their web page. That way they know you took the trouble to look up information on the company.
  6. Err, move it where in the garage? It won't fit!!! The garage is 10m long and supposed to hold 2 cars with a workshop at the end  Bud might be in the paper mid week
  7. There will be a contact page on there though?
  8. They have posts in the commercial section so find them there then send them a PM or email. You must have contacted them to buy the product in the first place surely?
  9. Even he couldn't manage that. No, it is all GRANT'S mess
  10. I will try to find the "before" pic of the computer room
  11. The bubbles come out the top of the pipe. I always had my outlet just at, or below, the water surface to cut back the noise of the bubbles.
  12. Our floor is particle board (I'm pretty sure that's what it is called) and our house built 1979. We have 4ft x 2 x 2 tank in the lounge no problem. It is also surrounded by a wall to wall, floor to ceiling bookcase full of heavy books. If I remember correctly we have an extra pile underneath though as originally the fireplace was going to go there. If it against a load bearing wall with the floor joists running at right angles to the tank length it should be fine. Think of it this way, if you had Greg Somerville (115kg - thanks to the Weetbix packet I know this), and 3 or 4 of his equally large mates visit, would you tell them they couldn't all sit together cos their weight might collapse the floor?
  13. We USE all that stuff danilada! Well, one of us does. I just use one of the computers and the 4 printers (and the jigsaws on the top shelf are mine). We run a computer company from home georgeous plus do satellite installations. Husband is also a radio Ham, hence the oscilloscopes and other test gear at the far end.
  14. Coffee table tanks have been around for years but never caught on as they are not the best thing in which to view your fish. Awkward to maintain too at that low level.
  15. I have found this web site great for looking up favourite authors or finding new ones of similar genre. It is up to date too. http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/
  16. We cleaned up in your honour Warren Office is looking reasonably tidy at the moment... which is more than I can say for the spare room...
  17. You can't register breedings until you have 10 fry over one month old
  18. Are the gills red? Could be gill flukes?
  19. I peg the power cord to one of my top tank braces (or the top edge of the tank if the lid isn't in the way) as the suction has gone on one of my internal filters too.
  20. As far as I know you can keep seahorses but it is my understanding it is very hard to feed them properly.
  21. Used to have one there but the weight bows the bench, plus it gets too much light (hard to tell from the pic)
  22. It isn't often you see my dining room table with nothing on it. Please note the kitchen bench is clean for once as well  Those who have visited my place know full well you can usually not see the table or bench for the mess piled on top! :-?
