well i have 2 babie platties which are about a month old, and my female plattie just had another 7 babies. How soon can i put the month old fry back in to the big tank with my other fish as i i only have 1 breeding tank and noticed the month old's chasing the 3 day old fry.. Thanks.

how do i tell the difference between Male & Female, as i have 2 little fry and there a bright red colour and lookin like the platties that i have. Also i have just recently cleaned the tank out and now about 4 weeks later it seems to be getting alot of slime and grime on the pebbles and it looks terrible any help thanks

woohooo one of my guppies has just had 5 baby fry over night, and she look like she will have more. is it a good thing to keep her in th breeding tank with the fry swimming around the bottom of the catchment area ??

hey well at the moment i only have one take and it's 22ltr, i bought it for my girlfriend for xmas but i have to maintain. At the moment we have 2 female and 3 male Guppies, 3 neon tetras, 1 bristlenose and 2 of these red fish with black tails which i cant remember the names of. When i get some spare time this weekend i shall take a pic of all the fish and post it up here for you all to see.

hey mate not just yet she still looks the same, how eva i went out and got a floating fish hatchery so i'm hopeing that shall keep them alive.

Hi all i'm chris and i'm from Sydney and this is my first time on the fish keeper wagon, so far so good..

ok then so she's been like that for a fair few days now, should i go out and get some extra plants and float them on top of the water for coverage to the little ones when she has them. ? How long will it take her to drop them ?

hey all well i have read a few post on this forum about guppies and there fry, which leads me to believe that the 2 i have are pregnant. This one i have had for about since the 2nd week of January and only recently i have noticed the black stop at the back of her abdomen, but since i bought her she has been a big guppie. Here are a few pic of her, if anyone could give me some more advise please..
