White cloudy or green cloudy? How long has the tank been set up. If it is relatively new (less than 6 months) it will be an algae bloom and will settle down as the tank matures. It is not harmful to the fish but doesn't look nice.

I would not keep turning the filter off. They need the flow. If you are turning it off because it is noisy at night, perhaps try muffling it with more filter wool or raising the water level if possible. The goldfish tail will heal. I'm not sure how many timeas an hour it is supposed to be but 5x popped into my mind for some reason :-? You can't over-filter unless the current is so strong the fish are plastered to the end wall of the tank -
It is a natural analgaesic and antibiotic. Often an old time remedy suggested for toothache and indeed, some dentists used to use it before anaesthetics were available.

Sometimes a growth like this can grow as a secondary infection on top of a wound underneath. You might find it will drop off, or is easily knocked off, and the the wound underneath has healed. Is it white and fluffy? If so, it could be this.

Hi and welcome Jamie. If your saltwater tanks are cold you will need a chiller as the weather heats up over summer. I ran a cold rock pool tank for a year or two but found it too difficult to keep cold enough when the room sat at 28C. :roll: I have since bought a chiller but not got around to setting up another rock pool environment.

Remember to drive slowly and carefully as the water will slosh a lot!

Tanks that small are simple to move, especially if you slide them onto a solid base board to lift and move them without straining the base of the tank. I would empty the water until there was just enough left for the fish to swim in, save the water in other containers, move the tanks, then put the water back. No catching fish required.

I would ring an upholsterer's and ask them if they have any product they recommend.

What size are the tanks? If they are small, leave a small amount of water in the bottom, along with the gravel and plants, and you won't have to catch the kuhlis at all

I too recommend a Honda Odyssey. We have one, as does my daughter. Great for hauling around extras and plenty of room for pushchairs etc.

Forgot to say the train was 1.2m long and the reason she got a train was because she had one when she was 3 so I figured 30 meant a bigger one :lol:

My daughter Kelly was 30 today. I made her a cake and took it to school. Here is Kelly with her class (she is the tall one at the back :lol: ) They all loved the train cake and it was quickly eaten! It took awhile to light the candles :roll:

I had them growing and breeding in a container on the lounge floor. They were in there for about 12 months. I never fed them anything. The water was in full sun and grew green algae so I assume they ate that.

Why do you want to grow them? They are nutritious when newly hatched but not so much so after a few days.
