  1. The Mysterons took over bodies and Captain Scarlett had to fight them! I can't compare any of these to Avatar as I have not seen it.

    Hi from Timaru

Welcome to the fishroom. 60L is not very big so you need to keep to the small species. Have you considered whether to get live bearers or egg layers? If you choose live bearers (guppies, platies, etc) you will quickly be over-run with fry.
  4. My son said he can put them in his pond if you like, he has room. He lives in Belfast. Send me a PM please.
  5. They have survived this long, I am sure they will continue to do so while you find them a new home. If you do not find someone in ChCh who wants them, I can rehome them here. I wil be in ChCh Queen's Birthday weekend (June 4 - 7). I may also know someone in ChCh who will have room in their pond. Will get back to you.
  6. That is so mean of you!!!! Bet you are there the next night skiting about all you stuffed yourself with
  7. Sounds like you need to try breeding a rummy nosed, Burmese odessa neon
  8. Now if only more of you would send articles!!!!

  13. Rummy nose tetras are always popular
  14. And all this from this picture, added as a last minute filler to the end of the article  ... Thank you for the praise Jennifer. What has made this the "best yet" in your opinion? I try to get a bit of everything and a wide range of subjects but it is difficult when so few articles are sent.
  15. The definition came with the pic When I was at school it never specified water, from what I remember, but I do remember the semi permeable bit. It is one thing that stuck in my head.
  16. OK KP. He often doesn't know he is going that way until the actual day so we will see what we can do. No promises but will keep you in mind if a fault comes in over your way.
  17. Or if we can get Grant to pick it up on his way past next time (he passes you often these days kiwiplymouth) I could bring it down to conference and hand it over
  18. Bryan, the article's author, was so successful using that method he was raising hundreds of cardinals at a time to supply his lfs.
  19. Indian fern (Ceratopteris pteroides), water sprite (Ceratopteris thalictroides) and water wisteria (Hygrophila difformis) have that fern look. Cherry barbs
  20. There is an excellent article, on how to breed cardinals, in the article section on the home page
  21. There are a lot more plants that adapt to brackish water than I thought! Some of those you have listed are banned in NZ but still plenty of others to try.
  22. It will last for a while then rot and die.
