  1. Squirt I think I remember what one you are talking about, is it the quarantine tanks setup one, that was amazing quarantine set ups, would love it just as my normal tanks LOL.
  2. I love the show, last nights was amazing, that ship tank they made for that poor little boy was genius And that fengsui marine tank was what I would only dream of having one day
  3. They are branching, when someone is there to drive the camera then it will show you where they branch. I just about had a heart attack the first time I saw one branch out of the nest, thought the wind scooped him up and threw him out of the nest :nilly: then I saw the camera pan down, so glad someone was driving it at the time, else I would have worried
  4. Yip you got them all right. and the two long men in the back is my step brother(brown shirt) and brother (white shirt) The older man is my Stepdad. My sister is the baby in the family, she only turned 21 last year Well done on the weightloss :bounce: very happy for you, keep up the good work
  5. I was about a size 18 when my mom last saw me, perhaps even a 20 with big boobs as well, so its gonna be a big change for her to see me smaller. I reread your question, I think I might have been tired the first time I read it last time LOL, so here is the correct answer This photo was taken the night before we left, it was our farewell photo, I am the one holding the baby, its my daughter, she was six months at the time I think the last time I was a nicely toned size 12 was in school
  6. http://www.sodastream.ca/#&panel1-1 I have a trainer that is helping me step by step, no ways I can overdo it  Sodastream is a good way to try and kick pop habits, it really helps, just remember to make the good choices when buying the juice syrups One day at a time is the best way Caper, no other way, and losing weight is extremely hard, but the rewards are over the top happiness
  7. Thanks Caper Its called Midnight gravel http://www.trademe.co.nz/pets-animals/f ... 161611.htm I bought it from this auction by Petstuff, I think I needed a 25kg bag for my 160 litre tank. It is very different from the midnight gravel sold by hollywoods and animates, not the same at all Its lovely gravel and easy to keep clean, looks nice in the tank and brings out the fish's colours beautifully
  8. If the ones on the outside of the cage hatch, wont the little babies go up the pipe, guess you can go and rescue them there then. Good thing some of them fell into the plants
  9. Oh wow :-? that is a pickle, is the eggs big enough to not get suck in the filter or will they get suck up, gosh what will you do, just let mother nature be or try and rescue them :nilly:
  10. Found it...... I think http://www.forestandbird.org.nz/what-we ... ch/scarpee
  11. http://www.fishguide.co.nz/index_english.html Have a look here
  12. ok I google imaged gurnard and I am way off, was even way off with the spelling in my first suggestion, I will google image some more and see what I find
  13. Could be a type of gurnett, I have caught one before, but mine was a little bit more colourful, but looks similar
  14. Thanks ghostknife, I do spoil my fish just a little hey LOL
  15. Sorry my photobucket got to full and I had to remove some pics
  16. Thanks Caryl They were munching it or munching on the food that got stuck in the gravel against the plants and then they would munch right through the plants, and then my big bristlenose would chase them around and rip everything out. I think my tank was just to small for them all to live happily together, but now I have peace in my tank and the plants can grow again.
  17. Updated photo after I got some lovely plants form ghostknife  Thanks ghostknife :happy2: My baby bristlenoses destroyed most of my lovely plants, but now my tank is looking nice and green againg
  18. Oh wow I am in pain today, my trainer worked me hard :nilly: I have such a sore body and most of it feels as if it is from the sprawl exercise, all you do is stand upright, then crouch down and lay flat on your tummy and then get upright again. do that 20 times rest and another 20 times, Gosh it works  Caper I used to love coke, would live on it, then switched over to coke zero (which is a little better) from there I started drinking all the different soda streams (ligt or diet ones) just keep an eye on the sodium and kilojules and if its low then its not that bad, at least its something pop like but not with six teaspoons of sugar in it. We are all here for each other

    The What's Up? thread.

I had an awesome day at work. I managed to get a little chinese girl that only speaks mandarin to sleep. No one has managed to do that yet, lets just say there were two very thankful teachers in the toddlers room today  and.... Tomorrow the new sims 3 stuff pack is released and its my day off :happy1:
  20. Thanks, we had a super fishing day that day. Smoked Kahawai for the whole neighbourhood LOL. Yay for your 8kg loss so far  You can do the rest, I know its hard, but it sure feels great I am super proud of myself, sometimes I forget but then I just look at my fat photo and then I am all good again
  21. Woooo You go Caper :happy1: Losing weight, especially if you comfort eat is one of the hardest things to do. You are doing great. I found that if I want to snack at night I eat a weightwatchers bar, or a handfull of toasted muesli or even a small little tub of yoghurt. My trainer said that its fine, its better than not eating something healthy and ending up to just run into the kitchen and making this one massive meal out of frustration. Another tip I can give you is to drink your water icy cold if you can, your body will have to work harder to get it back to body temperature so it burns some calories doing that We are all here to help each other to make the weight loss journey a little easier
  22. I agree with the tone and fitness. At the moment I am a fat size 14, lots of bulges and things  Excuse the photo but we were at sea all day long cause the fishing was good and the sun is in my eyes  BUT . . . . . . . . . . I used to be a superfat size 24/26 So I am proud of how far I have come I just need a little help to tone my fat 14 to a nice looking 12 with no bulges
  23. Yes, but then I comfort ate so bad while we went through a difficult time at home when my hubby got made redundant, so I am back in my size 14's again  But even when I was a size 12 then I still had some flab hanging everywhere that needed tucking so my goal is to become a toned size 12. My trainer is a female which is nice and she is very kind and understanding as well
  24. Hey all, I have given in trying to do it by myself and have the help of a trainer twice a week now. She said she was positive that I would have my size 12 pant size by the time my mom comes for a visit in Sept (have not seen her in 8 years) Now this was interesting, she said my big weightloss (about 35 in 4 months) caused damage to my muscles and that is why my body platoed (sp) for so long, so we are doing a little cadio and lots of weight training, all our food breakfast, lunch and supper is from the Healthy food magazine and things are looking up for me. So if all goes well then I will upload a pic of me and my Mommy in September to show you guys my results  How is everyone else going?
