  3. coastals waaaay more cold tolerant...i keep mine outside all year round after the first winter inside. when the waterdragons are hibernating the coastals still semi active,and start mating late august..if its being fussy with the veggies give it only veggies,it will eat them eventualy, then live food only once or twice week. thats jafa weather where i am.
  4. no substrate for babies,try vermiculite for damp box,easy on the mealwoorms,have heard of them eating there way out of baby leos gut as they dont have the crushing power to squish them.... :dunno: could be a rumor.

  12. uuuuuuummm. a bit warm this time of year.i assume they were inside?...what size enclosure?was it well ventilated?was it north face?....e.c.t.. bla bla blaaa.i dont know about repto but im well drunk! wheres the icon for that? can use this one right now :happy2: n maby this one later :sick: but wheres the coma icon?????
  13. enclosure waaaaay to small for 2, is there anyway you can get them outside in a bigger enclosure?
  14. adult beardies and waterdragons love em, seen waterdragons leap a couple of feet in the air to snap them up as they fly past...wasps or bees that is. dont think id risk it with babies ,jouvies ok though.. :thup:

  18. move the heat source to one end, put one probe on the basking spot, preferably elevated on a branch. good for uv penetration as well. put the other probe at the opposit end on the ground , you want to have a hot basking spot up high and a cool area down low at opposit end. so they can thermoregulate. need about200mm between dragons head and heat source if ceramic heater. even temp is bad.bad.bad i hope where talking inland beardies here?if coastal way to hot...
