I remember being offered yellow head or elongata tortises in 95? and also saw an ad in t&e about mid 96 for the same thing in thought bugger that!tropical species...i should have kept the paper would of been proof of them being pre 97 ....dagnamit.......
Regardless of weather it is containment facility or not,without a health standard your pretty much screwed as far as imports go!
I have 4 finches in an enclosure with many adult waterdragons that says otherwise,
have watched the finches feeding next to them, so far the dragons wont eat the unwanted finch eggs either cant be because they are to well fed cause when i take live locusts in there to feed out(maby once a week) all hell breaks loose.
Also saw them shred a stray wild mouse that got in there.
Havent seen proper mudskippers in pet shops for at least 15 years, seen elongated species at fins fish care about 6 years ago.... dont think there on the banned list. just not much demand.
The finchs are too wary of the pond,so have there own watersupply. Still, be interesting to see if they make it through the summer, i hope so,good to see some flight in there to round it off.
