I had 2. 1 was always a little paler in colour and more shy than the other, the other one was a little hoover. When we moved I realised that the pale one had disappeared and then a little while later I realised I hadn't seen the other one for a while and it never showed it's face again. they were cool little fish though

Video Update This tank now houses almost all the celestial pearl danios I bred in the minifish breeding project, and an oto. The rocks are all still in place but are now interspersed with rocks from the other planted tank and more java fern. This is sort of a temporary rockpile, but I like how it looks in the meantime.

I had 2 last year or the year before. They didn't like moving house though

Do they just crunch them up whole or do you have to break the shells for them?

Changing here too - I've shut down my planted tank, sold some of the plants, and moved the rest into the riverbed tank. I've accidentally made quite a cool jungle and there are about 25-30 CPDs of various sizes in there. I will take a picture one day...

I hadn't decided what to sell yet, I wanted to find out if the cost of selling was going to be prohibitive. I know that the stall fees for the Night Markets are pretty expensive, I'd be selling till midnight just to make back the stall fee.

Each to their own.... I guess it depends how it looks on the eye, and what the environment will be.

In a 55L tank I would recommend no more than 20 as they do like to zip about and like a bit of space to swim. 20 will look like a big shoal in a tank that size anyway.

I'm wondering if anyone is a seller of home made food at any markets in Auckland, and if they can tell me how to do so? I've read over the council website and find it rather confusing. This morning I spoke to a seller at Glen Innes and she said she had to pass 1 exam and that was it. I was of the impression that if you make food at home to sell at a market your kitchen has to be a registered and approved purpose-built set up, or you pretty much have to rent a registered and approved commercial kitchen. What about those people who cook and sell from the stall itself? thanks
