Yeah thought of that, the problem is most of the lid is curved so its hard to fit them in neatly also researched Peltier cooling but put that into to hard basket. Just going to stick a desk fan next to it with the lid open. We have another clownfish in there now a girlfriend for voldemort my significant other has named her ursula.

The tank is a little bit hot right now sitting on about 28-30 during the day I'd like it a lot cooler more like 24 Corals all seem ok though. I got the tank from hff but its modded for a marine set up I bought it as a standard 60L hailea tank.
  3. I have one particular female which bites me whenever I clean or stick my hand anywhere near her shell and when she has fry the aggression goes further into overdrive quite funny to watch, I didn't think it hurt though . I think you should be fine with a pair in there mine rarely fight now but for the first couple of months they were like little pit bulls.
  4. Its Thailand man bribery is its own institution over there :dunno: .
  5. Chatuchak Market is amazing in bad and good ways couldn't believe the amount of animals that were from east Africa when I was there last. All obliviously wild caught, seems like its the new south America in terms of smuggling probably due to the unrest in that region I suppose.
  6. Looks good, quite tall for a Shellie tank. They will hide in the shells but the level of aggression these little guys have is quite something!. It might help to have something to break up the line of sight.
  7. Ob peacocks got there ob genes from ob Zebras... I personally think there's nothing wrong with hybridising if done responsibly saw some mad flowerhorns in Asia when I was travelling.
  8. That's actually quite impressive.

    Fish Quiz?

What popular African Cichlid is mostly descended from a single pair?
  11. I just like that saying Oh and how did you edit your post with out it saying edit?
  12. Has anyone had any real information from hff not just a nod from a store person. Expensive due to the fact there hard to breed and you can no longer import wild caught fish and considered to be one of the nicest looking catfish around... Wouldn't be the best tank cleaner being that there carnivorous (correct me if I'm wrong Rabbit). In fact Tropheus would be better algae grazers/ tank cleaners than them and a lot of people consider a group of Tropheus to be pretty overpriced as well..... Meh rant over.

Hey there after looking at spoons Nano thread I thought I should put up some pictures of my own. Its situated in my wife's shop so it had to look good or else id be in trouble. Here are some pic's of it in the early stages of set-up I cycled/cooked the rock in a bucket for about 2 months prior to setting up the actual tank. Voldemort the clownfish The skimmer media chamber and return Pump. The lights. And a couple of whole tank shots. I will endevour to put more photos up as it has been running for about 3 months now.
  18. Thanks for all the info Joe :-? . Oh and Spoon RO-DI water all the way makes every thing easer all though I do understand its a bit of a cost.
  19. So basicially change the whole tank aye Joe? Why don't you get your own tank and do all that you want to do.
  20. "Although it is not clear if this species has dark bands on a pale body, or pale bands on a dark body" A bit like anything with stripes ?
