Thought I might post some pic's of what the tank looks like now had a mild disaster in the form of a tank leak about 5 months back had to move everything and re silicone the tank lost some of the corals so this is what it looks like since then.

I have a 3/4 Cairn terrier 1/4 Jack Russell which is pretty cool a little bit hyper but is calming down as he gets older not many genetic problems with terrier's either.

I found a uv filter to be the best solution some times it is really hard to find a reason and to get rid of it. I try'd all sorts on a display tank (water testing, water changes, reducing light etc) one week with a uv filter sorted it out after over a month of trying other things and it didn't come back.

Shouldn't of had the snake as it was illegal. Snakes seem to inspire feeling in people that other reptiles don't never gonna see them legal here for that reason not for sound ecological ones :dunno: . agree with sunbird and David R regarding the comedian........

N.z natives are great am applying for a permit soon. Also think adult male Iguanas are awesome

But what makes them legal can they all be traced back to a legal import for general release? Seems like that's the only way to make them truly "legal" in this country. I know if I had some chameleons for example even if I knew they were descended from legally imported stock, I wouldn't want maf to know because bottom line they can't be trusted. (I don't have chameleons by the way) :-? .

You want to send me a list of what's legal can't seem to find one anywhere, I can find one of definitely illegal reptiles.

Do you mean the skimmer collection cup has a drainage hole in it back into the sump??

I've seen another one that ate pellets and frozens no problem but most don't for a long time.
