  7. Really? A hair net... interesting. How does that work? Can I do that with the rock? Cover it in moss then use the hairnet to hold it in place? That sounds like a cunning plan! I ain't got a gran so how bout a garlic bag? Kinda the same...

  11. Hi guys - I'm new to growing aquatic plants so am after some tips from those of you who are wonderfully experienced. I love the look of xmas moss when it is attached to something ie driftwood, rocks. I have got myself some a decent amount of xmas moss from Trademe, pre soaked driftwood & nice rocks from LFS and some fine nylon. What advice can you guys offer? How long will it take for the moss to attach itself? Does the nylon get removed after it has attached itself? How much moss do you start with? blah blah blah... Love to hear your thoughts!

  23. What is the smallest heater, physical size wise. I need a 25w (or smaller if there is one!) heater to heat a 9ltr tank but I don't want the heater to take up all the available space... What brand makes the smallest?
  24. I agree - this should be an all in one off the shelf comp. As Wagonman has said that is how this discussion started out... and for beginners being that this discussion has been in the beginners section? Definately let it be the beginning of many comps aimed at various other categories Keep everyone happy
