  1. Peacock eel, 20-30cmish smallest one pretty much
  2. 'refined'?, I think they look best when under blue lights, shows their fin colour best when adults, unlike silvers who get more red.
  3. Zoology requires Biology (of course), physics (animal structure or something) and stats. Check out uni sites for more info, thought about this course but not too flash at physics. My info is for a Uni major though. 7th form year is the best school year out! so many more privileges, good times and mates - do 7th form
  4. If only they kept juevy colour when adults. look pretty much like silvers when bigger, just a tad darker I believe.
  5. Lookin good Can see the reflective retinas of the ornates eyes in the corner.
  6. Wicked bro, but are these fish only worth one measly pic?
  7. Loaches: Get dwarf chain loach/striata loach/yoyo loach - anyone else free to add other species.

  9. True that, IMO hardest hockey competition for college age students, even over regionals, quality of game is high. Haha, a few WBHS people on here then, BTB lol
  10. Our win was in Napier, we had an ace team that dominated hard, the harbour U18 boys won the nationals without any problems, won the final for that 7-2 or something and the school team which had a lot of those players beat otago boys in the final of Rankin 3-2 i think - was a dream team for sure. Last year it was Dunedin, this year rotorua
  11. Interesting, the one that I have which looks similar to yours I believe to be a male.
  12. Not bad smidey, I play only for our 1st X1 hockey, much harder to make more than 1 A team -good effort on your part ! 2 years back we won Rankin, then we came 4th last year - tough tourny, good fun though. We have rotorua high, St andrews and Christ college.
  13. Wicked, more if you can 8) yes im greedy. Have you noticed btw that the delhezis sometimes have different shapes? I have 2 dels and the difference is huge, check them out when you come over. 1 is like yours and fairly solid, has more of a paddle shaped caudal fin and fatter head. the other one is much slimmer, elongated, flowing fins and flatter head? Any ideas?
  14. Dont know really any good lighting places, should look even better with stronger lights.. hmm need that for mine too  Right side looks good, but something seems a little lacking on the left? maybe a really long piece of wood with various vegetation extending to the other side might be a good way to draw your vision across the tank? could you get some pics of the del and the sens up if poss? addicted much
  15. Hard out, will do - stores just dont have them at a large size, and i dont have anywhere to soak them, and i seem to have lost my patience somewhere around here...
  16. TANK IS NOWHERE NEAR FINISHED. Decor at the moment was only put in as a temporary hide for the fish, was a little restricted for cash once set up. My plan is to put a mild/darkish gravel to change the colours brought out by the fish, add one super large piece of wood as a feature item, plant substantial Val forests in the back/corners, maybe a couple of large swords - havent had any problems with plants and bichirs so far, swords are always good. Shot G! looking good aye! There is actually plenty of sand, huge piles of it created by the fx5 jet, and the bichirs push it out of the corners too. Tried Anubis plants but havent had any success yet. Plecos poop way too much I find, unless these are different? Need more lights too - going for marine blue, pink and more white I think, maybe an averagely dark coloured gravel that is easily distinguished from the black background would be good, that way I get the colour change without totally blanking the tank. Kinda need to factor in the eventual size of the fish too, Jar will reach a good 50cm... But in terms of plants and wood there is plenty to do.
  17. yeah, decor has been a slow second, decided I want a darker gravel so Im gonna change that asap, add heaps of tall plants and one large piece of wood I think. Yeah bichirs are a little exposed I guess, geos are surinamensis.
  18. haha, hey how long are you out of there?
  19. Some more... Geos schooling Festae, GT and a del school again FTS again whadyya think
  20. Well, decided to update my tank - tank is nowhere near finished in terms of decor and there are a few more additions to add. DEE on the forum is moving house, and im holding onto some of his fish while he moves - question him on prices but fish for sale are: flowerhorn (nice fish), Festae, 3x geos (super nice). Im also keeping another Green terror, I have a m/f pair now, and a small fire eel. anyways, some pics FTS Some geos My festae and my largest del Managed to get a couple of pics of my jardini 8) finally so hard to capture  GT's, jar Flowerhorn im holding
  21. Would most likely know them, big school though 2200 students.
  22. Ahhh... the ones Im gonna smoke at the national hockey tournament in rotovegas No way, we are so much better !!! What form are your cousins? Fees aren't too bad, exam fees for cambridge (English system that I do, not NCEA) are $500 for me, and then there is co-curricular activities to pay for -adds up.
