Yeah! that tank looks nice David, if you get it like that... get the right lighting is important, also can you get wood like that here? cos i cant find any.

Put a marine blue bulb over the black arowana = blue arowana , what is the decor going to be if your not doing plants?

they begin with S.... jokes, brackish fish, good with same species, archers, other general brackish companions, grow largeish so tank maybe 300L

Man! thats looking great, didnt know you were gonna do your own background, show us the finished product aye! Are you going to plant it, or scrap that idea cos of the cichlids? have you considered maybe doing lots of like neons or cardinals and putting in a big arowana? that could look good 8)

I like big fish!!! Feel much better now, are there many bigger tanks in the S.island, i know we in N.island are cranking some biggies, but haven't heard much about the lesser S.island

Nice tank kiwiplymouth Reckon if you switch the substrate, take out the pipes and rearrange the wood (or get new stuff), then add some colour or character with geophagus species, clown loaches, arowana etc = big difference, dont give up on the monsters yet.

Why do you have the pipes from the cansister at the front Nice decor, now you just need to pop in a couple of dats, bichirs, cichlids.... by by platties :roll: why do you keep the platties in there, other tetras look better than platties imho :lol: Is that the tank stock atm?

yeah, guess so, thats what your gonna get with cichlids (severums especially +uaru) :roll: , prob better to go with wood attached ones like moss, fern and anubias. BTW its an 's' not a 'z' in my name lol
