    HELP ME!

TBH i cant rember, i think out of the nest there was very few that survived, between 5-10. it is possible they could spawn again, but that will put more stress on the fish, possibly best just to seperate again for a few days and condition them up again
  5. so ive had this tank for about 2 months set up as a planted tank but it just dosent look right, like it needs more plants. but as i dont know much about plants i thought i could leave it to you guys to criticise my work and make it better. so what plants should i add to this, i want it planted out a bit more, peferably so it blocks the background a little. tank is 1.6m long, 30cm wide and 40cm tall. lighting is 2 58w daylight tubes. and substrate is daltons aquatic mix and then brown fine gravel on top. occupants are 8 angels, approx 8 glowlights, 5 albino black neons, 2 golden tiger barbs and 5 bristlenoses filtered with a eheim 2213

    ponds!!!!!

Bathtubs!!!!!!!!!!!!!! perfect size, generally watertight and cheeper than chips (i picked mine up for $1 each on trademe) and you dont need to dig a hole if you want. all you need to do is buy a plug and silicone it in if you want. my two bath ponds dont even have plugs and are blocked by dirt and grass growing up through the drain hole.
  17. add the quranteen costs and it will be in the thousandsZ
  18. thanks, the tanks about 1600lx380wx470h. in this case the blocks where the right size
  19. sorry i took so long to get these photos up, this is my cinder block stand. please ignore the mess around it and my foot I still havnt finished moving the tank and setting it up again, going from bare bottom to my first fully planted tank, but thats another thread when its done
  20. ive got a cinder block stand at the moment, i love it. its just got a sheet over it to hide all the bricks. i will take a photo of it when i get home tonite when i move the tank and plant it out. ive found that its fine but you do need to think about the footprint of the tank vs the footprint of the bricks, you dont really want it top heavy, and 3 bricks high put it at a nice height

    Drift Wood

like yesterday i went into the waitaks and found a small puddle that had about 5 bullies (i think) of some description swimming around in it, ok it was a little bigger than a puddle, more like a tiny trickling stream, and it was right next to the track
