I have a pretty heavily planted tank and had 12 of the white clouds in the tank with my Orandas. White clouds have behaved very well and kept to themselves. great community fish

Dan is Correct the only decent place is Animalz on taradale Rd easiest way if you are coming from north is to go past the airport and head towards Hstings, go straight through the first round about and then turn left at the second round about and head about 1km up Taradale rd towards the city and animalz is on the left after going over a small stream. Happy travels.

I ususally have a bow in the hose after it comes out of the tank and when the water hits the bow I then pour it into the buckets. works every time and you don't get any water in the mouth.

use the same method as when you get them from the fish shop bag water and a good knot so the water won't leak. put them in a chilly bin. (won't splash all over the place if bag is leaky) ad heat pack if they are tropicals. otherwise just as will do. I have done the trip many times and no loss of life.

Susi I feel your pain Yes go back to the shop you purchased the stuff from and confront the person you talked to then the manager. get your refund or replacement bag of stones. This is definitly the first time i have hear d of using bird grid. stones alone would be suffice.

you can use your household cleaning stuff like jiff or dishwashing liquid to do the initial clean to get rid of all the oil and grease and stuff but you then have to be really thorough in rinsing it clean. I suggest you do the best you can then leave it outside for the natural elements for a couple of days then give it another good rinse out. Cycle the tank and if the cycling fish don't die your'e done. Have fun

my suggestion would be a fluval 403 cannister filter. I use one in my tank which is of similar dimesions, and it works very well Heater I don't know much about but if there is a good current going then IMO 1 will do as this should provide even temperature. (heater located in path of jet stream)

I find using a chilly bin works well cause it is insulated and also it has a nice fitting lid so minimizes splashes wwhen carting them around. As kim said move the tank to the new place first and set it up then move the rest of the furniture. Fish have priority
