  1. When was the last time you changed water? does it look like there is a bit of white fungus growing around the edges of the rash?
  2. I keep my discus in a community tank as well and have no problems with them... I have rams, kribs, guppies, lots of Bristlenose, clown loaches. Discus are happy and well fed. So I can't see any reason why your discus would not be happy in there in the long term... mine has been going for 7 months now
  3. I see that Alan looks so distinguished with his Pink Party hat on...   But in Honesty Great Pics Caryl as usual
  4. I wouldn't worry too much about it. my goldfish are a bit sluggish at the moment too with the cooler weather. Just don't feed them too much as they are not doing a heck of a lot of swimming and socialising when it is cold.
  5. when was the last time you did a water change? Have you tested the water lately for Amonia, Nitrites, pH?

    MAF Shake Up

Most 20 ft containers only hold 20 tonnes gross NOT 30 In New Zealand you can get to 26 tonnes but that is max due to our road carrying limits. In the US and Asia it is 20 tonnes Gross. as their road limits are only 20 tonnes. Even the 40 ft containers have a maximum weight of 26 tonnes gross. Once again due to Road carrying limits. Thought I would clarify this point. I do a lot of exports to different coutries, so have to check max loading weights of various containers. But either way it is still a heck of a lot of product to move by air or sea.
  8. I guess Wainui will be getting its first fish shop soon

I would recommend that you should invest in a UV Sterilizer if you are using a central source of water for all your tanks. This minimizes the risk of infection spreading from one tank to the others.

  13. Ok Killi Philles I have just checked my mops and found about 1/2 dozen eggs in it. Now what?
  14. I think you may be ok Jude, since you have 2 fluvals and a heavily planted tank. like others have said keep an Eye on it and hold back cleaning the other filter for a while. I have only needed to clean my 303 last week after having it run continuously for 6 months. I wouldn't have bothered if it weren't for the fact that no water was coming out. When I did open it up found that the sponges was clogged by Guppy doo. Quick rinse and the filter was back in action again.
  15. As I said in the Poecilia website. Great work, keep it up. I will try to submit something for you for the next issue Cheers Wok
