trust me you'll have your hands full with a lorikeet. the bigger parrots like those guys and greys are much less work - but they need more stuff space etc. lorikeets are awesome though. if you are consistent with your training etc, you will love having one as a companion pet.

they aren't aggressive. more so they are total and absolute hogs, so will eat tetras etc if they can catch them. plecs should be ok.

i dunno. i just put like 5 ml in there occasionally. sometimes if im up to the task, ill put it with the bloodworms and then give it to them or if i really feel generous, ill put some on the hikari sticks (like a drop or so), and then let them dry out, and then ill give it to them.

what is a lori like after coffee? surprisingly a badly behaved lori is a lot like me BEFORE my morning coffee. its like poking a dragon in the eye. a very big angry dragon. like an angry lady dragon at that time of the month. YAWRRR!!! lol. its terrible and is not a fate i wish on any one :lol: :lol: :lol: it can kill them, as it speeds up the heart rate, and as you can imagine a small animal like them has a pretty darn fast beating heart. makes them a bit hypo... (and by a bit i mean a lot). caffeine doesn't do them any good as it shortens their life span. rusty is allowed to sniff my coffee on a good day, but usually he has to make do with a tiny bit of froth at the end of my finger.

You need something to hold it down. its a very light clay like soil, and even the slightest water current will churn it up. if you were running no filtration initially, id recommend planting the tank first, letting the plants establish, and then adding some sand or similar on top to keep the daltons down once the plants are growing and multiplying.

i thought they moved near Masterton. im sure things will sort out... never lose faith. im sure there is an explanation of some sort.

that's a pretty big toilet! i dont like dolphins personally. i prefer the demasoni and e. yellow combination.

you should be able to get it at any pet shop. i know animates has it cause i got mine from there. bird section. little white bottle with red label border and 2 birds on it. i think its like 12 - 15 bucks for 51.8 mL.
