soft water but v low light. I have some in my tank, and some growing outside in the shade. shops will usually have it for about $20 or so, possibly even a bit more than that.

sad to hear. Unfortunately the very same has happened to me when I was in AKL, and that cost me and 2 others thousands of dollars worth of livestock.

L260 are def being bred in large numbers. not too sure about 129.

nah. they belong to someone I know. Got in wee-little little tortoises last year.

I took them into animates for the pet fun day thing so people could see them. tortoise was in a dog crate so people could see it and feel her shell etc.

They are the cutest things ever. :lol: the smaller LG's tried to bite me but were tame once they got used to being handled. the older ones are sweet as... that tortoise is the sweetest thing ever. just sat there eating and sleeping all day. :lol:
