couple of bucks? damn. they were not good sellers at all. I think I used to buy most of them here, and a few customers used to get as well, but that's about it.

Have to special order them. I have a packet in the freezer still sealed, but it is a "line not carried any more".
  5. Thanks! sure is! that is a female steel blue. great grand daughter of the first steel blues I bred.
  6. This is the darned thing now. Ill get some SAE's. I didn't want them in case the plecos bred.... L002's may breed soon by the looks of it. It is sucking the nutrient away from my precious swords and the crypts, and my macrandra is ruined.
  7. hahhaha this is why I never let him sit on me. I was wearing a new tee and didn't want any poop on me. other people were more than happy to pay the price and have a bird sit on their shoulder. (or in tanya's case, sift through her hair).
  8. for a 4ft fixture? that is cheeeeaaappp!!!
  9. That sucks, but at least you noticed it when you did!

I hate to say it, but i wish i could buy some of those hikari bottom feeder wafers.
  11. diamond cutter, or take it to a glazier and see if they will do it. the warehouse mirrors are horribly cheap and are made of the thinnest glass possible, so are perfect to be made into reflectors.
  12. Look Jen! He came out again!
  13. oh awesome. its a neat fish for sure.
  14. juwel funnily enough makes them and sells them  I'd just use a mirror if price was an issue, and the difference in price is huge. mirror is $11 and silicone is $10. The reflector is upwards of $50
  15. And thank you for the delicious pizzas! it was good to have you over! (also thanks to who ever got the tim tams mmmm...)
  16. 100% reflectors can be bought from a store. otherwise, use a thin warehouse mirror, but it to size and shape and stick it to the lids of the tank. works a treat, but then obviously the lids lose the ability to bend.
  17. The tank will be well planted and is 2ft long with wood and hiding places. The ones I have seem pretty ok with each other, so fingers crossed. ill let you know how it goes.
  18. The flowers will tell you the difference.

  22. Trust me, you do not need any more lights in a juwel. Add some reflectors if you have to. I mean you can grow glosso under those lights.
