  1. I don't think I'd notice the goobers if I can bring myself to ignore the poop
  2. welcome back! and keep us updated as you get on with the project.
  3. I dunno? rust sneezes on me sometimes. then he shakes his head and looks at me. I thought it was a parrot thing.
  4. does he sneeze after he does that?
  5. hmm... dunno. although I want to, Ill be with 2 other that won't be all that interested in fish.
  6. they will be best in soil or gravel and water. chuck the lead stuff out. its not needed, and needs to be removed before planting.
  7. as long as it gets enough light it will be all right.
  8. probably easier to set up a smaller tank and grow it submersed. subulata is pretty hard to kill. or just chuck them out side for a few weeks in a box like I did.
  9. I got mine today. asked for 2f 1m but got 3m instead. I hope this does not become a problem.
  10. it should stay exactly the same as an adult. the spots may get a little smaller, but I believe that's about it.
  11. I be one with the birds. I have to disinfect my self before and after I go there though.
  12. Apparently I'm going there tomorrow, so is there any thing relatively "aquaticy" related in there? I wonder if they would let me play with the animals or feed the animals etc.
  13. its common to get spots, but stripes are even cooler! you must post pics when you can. and congrats! :bounce:
  14. you're right.... it would be quicker to train a monkey.
  15. hmm.. these next few pics from a few minutes ago (pleco breakfast time) will not help the green then  I got another pleco too... but I dare not tell you about that one.
  16. The larger (huge) ones drop off in value as tank suitability becomes an issue, but for loaches that size the larger ones for $50 and the smaller for maybe $25 - $30 ranging to $40 would be what they are worth retail. For the whole lot I would have put an offer of $150 on the table assuming I would be happy paying a retail price and then worked from there.
  17. Nice! My pair are a bit weird. they swim together but dont want to breed. maybe if i put more in the tank they would consider it.
  18. I like the name mr. puff. may i steal it for a certain fish im getting? so what sort of snails do you feed them?
  19. you cover the tank with a blanket. like wrap it up... flea bomb the house, and regularly de-flea the cats!
  20. They are territorial so keeping them with dwarf puffers would be a mission unless the tank was really large. I personally would not mix them cause the travancoricus are really small and the red eyes get to be a fair few inches in length.
  21. my loaches are clicking their barbels in delight
  22. He sounds adorable I'd like to have a fish like that.
  23. aaannndd.. there should be about 30 in palmy if the order made it right 8)
