  1. Sounds like I missed out on a lot of fun!
  2. Back in Wellington again. The city is awesome and has so much life to it! Staying on the Terrace and will return to Palmy on Tue evening after work.
  3. If you're breeding ottos, you won't have any problems selling them at all!
  4. You can actually zoom in that pic and it's real clear. Looks like a Danio now. lol.
  5. Daltons sand from palmers is good.

    Frog

    lol :sml1:
  7. Those are the slopey head ones I love! They are so cool!
  8. Just buy one of these and then a normal CO2 bottle from NZ. http://www.ebay.com/itm/UP-CO2-regulator-with-solenoid-magnetic-valve-control-/250881122073?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a69ae1f19 You don't have to mess around with modding anything. Alternatively HFF may still have their deals for a full system. Have you spoken to them yet?
  9. Puppy! When can I see it and spoil it rotten?
  10. Put the media baskets in the tank after you've rinsed some of the larger gunk off.
  11. Lol just read it properly. you can rule CO2 out as a COD ahah
  12. I think it may have been the CO2 because it's only a 30L tank. My shellies died when I did a simple WC with normal soft water.
  13. You should see what that Bengal does to the catfish after that pic was taken.
  14. You got flamed because you practically asked for it. You are dealing with a bunch of dedicated fish-keepers that don't just keep fish at home for the heck of it, but because for many of us fish-keeping is more a passion than any thing else. Have a read over your post and think about it.
  15. preferred your old name! Also - I remember this day! :slfg:
  16. You're older and you paid her??? That's not how it works!
  17. I think the whole thing would look better without the rock on the LHS. If you're planting the tank, don't worry about what the tank looks like before you plant it - change and move things around as the plants grow naturally. The tank will so to speak 'evolve' more naturally.
  18. The texas is going to be thrilled!
  19. Totally worth it. I prefer the darker reddish medium sized pellet.
  20. Plants in my experience will do better (and are soooo much easier to plant) in a small sized gravel. But if you have cories like I do, then you will notice such a huge difference in their habits when they have sand the dig around in!
