you regulate it by increasing the hardness of the water slightly thus increasing its buffering ability. A buffer resists pH change and so addition of CO2 will not decrease the pH of water as much as may have been thought.

hmm that is not good. If your water is back on do 50% waterchanges everyday, and add aquarium salt. 1 table spoon for every 10L should be fine. replace salt with every water change. Meth blue will be good too.

They are aggressive. You have seen what only males can do in a tank first hand. The addition of females was not the problem. If you intend on keeping multiple males in a tank that is under 100L, it has to be a totally sealed tank, because there will be only 1 male left by the end of it.

It comes with a 64 bit system. Its prob DDR 3 which means if you match your RAM you could run 3x 2GB at TriChannel.

I saw a couple. They certainly looked like it to me. Didn't do a rigorous search though. got confusing because both species were being sold as leaf fish and were imported at the same time.
