Who here apart from me uses these? I think they are the best bit of over priced bits of plastic on the planet. I hate the price with a vengeance, but it's infinitely better than the stock green.

Thank you kindly! eggs are still bright and healthy. Appear to be 100% fertilized! there is a slight white mark at the edge of one egg, so I will monitor that closely.

I'd keep him separately or in another community tank or similar without any other male cockatoos and see what happens then.

That's pretty cool. What fixtures are using and how do you dim them?

They aren't all that agro. Don't know about neons as I only have cardinals with mine, and nothing has ever been killed by the discus. Cardinals eat the baby discus though.

I think they are ugly. Think of how nice you think they look - I think the exact opposite. Lemon tetras are far better as far as I am concerned. Colours are way nicer.

I was on holiday on the west coast of india on the 26 of Jan 2001. That was a 7.9 IIRC. It was total destruction. Then I spent 2 weeks in a little village with some people that helped rebuild it. There was just too much to do. The final stats were over 20,000 - 25,000 dead and more than half a million homeless :\

I can only imagine what it feels like, but I unfortunately have experienced an earthquake that was much larger than a 7.1.

Well... I evicted the G B rams that were in there and the male agasizzi. Chucked them all in the big tank. There is so much algae on the side of this tank it should provide food for them once they are a bit larger and sucky. :lol: This is how I have the eggs in the tank - I think I can see the zygotes! Modified filter to allow a gentle calming 'breeze' of water flow through the net emulating the gentle fanning of the father :lol: :oops:

That is a very nice looking CL. Don't worry about his fin; it will heal up just fine.

Yeah! That would work. only I have them in this planted tank - and I don't know If I want to ruin my tank! Maybe I can filter the green water through until I am left only with the green bit.

$6.75 is the RRP, so HFF have an awesome deal going on at the moment! I also think kitty tetras are ugly. Lemon tetras are brilliant if kept in the right conditions.

As long as you are living in New Zealand, that particular plant is banned no matter what region you live in. It is available, but it is technically illegal.

Thanks! And no, no green water at all. just put a banana outdoors using the water from the tubs I have mossie larvae and my plant experiments in. Water outdoors has been there a year now and doesn't go green

I knew it was going to happen, but the minute I came back home and dug into the tank to see what had happened, I took out the eggs without thinking! Makes me wonder if they are all fertilised or if I have been too hasty and taken them out too early! Any one want to hazard a guess?
