If you let the symptoms develop slowly, it looks like what you would expect to see from fish TB at a very advanced stage. It develops into a gaping hole that looks like an internal eruption after it gets past the 'tumour' phase that the pimples lead to. A bent spine is not always a symptom of the disease, and it is very rare.

With all that we have in the way of FW treatments, it is usually used for SW fish.

DAY 6 So I remove any yellow opaque eggs as they come up. Removed another 4-5 just now. That brings the total up to about 8-9 non-viable eggs. As I removed the fungus from one of the eggs I spotted a tiny set of eyes and a whiptail body as I pulled it out. It's quite exciting really. :lol: Can't wait for the wrigglers. Then the challenge starts.

Furan 2 is a broad spectrum antibiotic and as such should be fine. (treats gram + and gram - bacteria [they are called that because of the way they stain]) Remember to complete the entire dose, and not stop when the symptoms stop.

Highly illegal. Can't do any thing with it really. One of the worst pest fish species out waterways have been exposed to.

Emerald eyes are pretty cool. My fav would be the mosquito rasboras though. Conchu Blue tetras are really nice, but more expensive.

A chinese carp is an unusual and technically incorrect term for a goldfish. Better to be safe than sorry yes? If he is selling goldfish, no harm done. http://www.google.com/search?q=chinese+ ... =firefox-a

If he is selling something labelled KOI, it needs to be reported. he will then be told the legalities and what have you. No one wins if someone sells a koi as a goldfish.

Probably none. :lol: Most predatory fish are fast and good at hiding. Others will likely rearrange the tank to suit their linking. Just use 2 nets and catch as many guppies as you like.

This is one of the parents. Not sure if it is the male or the female as the pic was taken before the male developed his whiskers.
