Yeah, don't worry about it. They will make good parents when they are ready; and if you are really serious about breeding them get rid of all the other fish bar the pair. Then you'll need another tank for when the babies are big enough. Then you'll have to be prepared to do a billion water changes and feed them a trillion times a day! :lol: It's a miracle the fish are available at the prices they are to be honest.

It's not a must have really. I mean you pay good money for the standard stuff. But it is slightly better - When you turn the filter off you have this little cap thing you can open and prod things down if you see the need to clean the pipes, the input and output nozzles are thicker so they don't obstruct flow as much. They are not green -.- I like the spray bar in particular. It's modular so you can individually control the spray direction for each segment of the spray bar. It also has EHEIM written on it :lol:

Yeah. Wasn't sure about the ID but when I first saw it I was a little taken aback. Being housed by knowledgeable people now. It has very long nails. like very long. creepy like and all haywire. Legs don't look particularly happy either, but now it looks much happier than when I first saw it.

They will eat flakes, just like any other fish. I'd feed spirulina flakes and maybe some vege granules. That sort of stuff.

Yeah, you can order them through any fish shop / pet shop. The eheim importer is massive and usually has everything. I have a number of them but needed just the intake bit of the installation set 1. Then my salvaged pro II will be complete! Eheim parts are an absolute killer! :lol: sooo good though. Feel happy just looking at it.

hmmm. That works to be the same as a HO Hood then, with the HO lighting controllers being slightly cheaper I think. Your way and you get to dim the lights which is a huge bonus. Do you get a warranty on the parts?
