  1. Have you tried hitting refresh?

    Help!?

Yeah, fill it with warm water.
  3. If they aren't strong enough to handle a gentle flow then they don't deserve to live.
  4. Flow is a good thing. My 4 foot has about 7000lph of flow in it and it's still pretty calm.
  5. I've never thought of Rotties as being viscious. I think, given how well publicised any "attack" is how rarely we hear about them tends to show that people don't usually take dogs likely to bite to pet stores and how rarely they do bite.
  6. I'd like a pet kakapo, but unlike kakapos a hamster has never head raped anyone...Well, maybe I don't know if anyone would notice.
  7. Hers were probably wild foxes. These are domesticated Siberian foxes that have been bred in Russia specifically to domesticate them for 50 years.
  8. I'd like the foxes. The small pics are getting idiotic.
  9. Domesticated Siberian foxes. Something tells me we'll never be able to get them here. http://www.sibfox.com/data/catalog/10_thumb.jpg http://www.sibfox.com/data/catalog/19_thumb.jpg http://www.sibfox.com/data/catalog/20_thumb.jpg http://www.sibfox.com/gallery/ Also the limiting the images to a microscoping 645 pixel width is getting to be idiotic.
  10. I'd assume water and air volume.
  11. It's for when he's using chat roulette...
  12. Looks like hygro polysperma. But that's not a native. How do you know it's a native if you can't identify it?
  13. Still have a couple packages of them left...Derlen bakery 60mm shortcrust shells.
  14. Yes, they were good. One mix makes about 36 of them. So I was eating one or two every time I walked past the freezer for a couple weeks. Need a bit higher filling to crust ratio, though. Otherwise you end up with the crust dominating the flavor.
  15. May not be that hard to simulate if you have some kind of time range from hatching to reaching the ocean. I'd imagine a couple weeks? So you could give them a week or so in freshwater to as they travel down stream then over another week raice the salinity of the water by maybe .002-.003 each day until reaching full marine?
  16. Here's what they look like in little tiny tart crusts. I'll have to try bigger ones next time though, these are about 2 bites sized... *Edit* What do you mean it must be less than 645 pixels wide? It's 600, you douchebag messageboard program! Fine, I'll resize it....
  17. Oooh, Surinamensises...Menssisi...Surinamensii? Either way, my favorite FW fish.
  18. Whenever I feel like it. Don't know how long you'd leave the orange there. When I fed it to my cichlids it never made it to the bottom.
  19. Corn, peas, lettuce, brocolli, cauliflour, cabbage, spinach, brussel sprouts, garlic, oranges...Just about anything. Except silverbeet, my fish didn't like that. Clearly they are smart.

    3foot tank

Fish. Lots of little fish, a few medium fish.
  21. I haven't cleaned my glass in 4-5 years. It doesn't take an entire weekend to throw one end of a hose in a tank, suck on the end then wander off for half an hour. Certainly beats the crap I went through with my marine tank.
  22. Probably about when siphoning out the door then refilling from a hose becomes as expensive as a couple kg of salt and 200L of RO water.
