  5. thanks for that. What is the standard retail price for flourish excel? I am wondering if I should buy from petplanet for $20.60 for 250ml plus $6 shipping or wait until I go down to Invercargil in just about 2 weeks time and get it then?
  6. also to help plants grow faster and outcompete algae should I be looking at excel or flourish?

  16. I want to build a diy co2 system but dont know how to diffuse it. Do you need to spend money on building a diffuser from an air pump? I have heard you can stick it in the the filter intake to diffuse it? do you put It in the hole for airlines or do you let it run through the filter?
  17. Have heard of lemons being kept with discus. Much cheaper than rummy noes or cardinals as well. As for algae eater BN would be fine or otos.
  18. I dont have any thing that would really need root tabs.

  20. I am regreting now not getting undergravel ferts but petplanet didnt have them In stock and I dont think my LFS sells them. As for the price difference. http://www.petplanet.co.nz/shopping/pgm ... d=355&=SID http://www.petplanet.co.nz/shopping/pgm ... d=138&=SID so thats why im asking as they are both very similar prices. and what about this? http://www.petplanet.co.nz/shopping/pgm ... d=143&=SID
