  1. Hey all, not sure if this is the correct place but is very off topic....looking for a new flatmate to share 2 bedroom house in Mt Roskill. Private for details or if anyone knows of people looking? Cheers. FF
  2. They were ALL vet only, until Frontline moved into the pet stores.
  3. Animates have been selling Frontline for quite a few years from their stores in Auckland, under the "control" of their neighbouring vet clinic, which technically falls under the mentioned conditions.
  4. Actually, Frontline was a vet only flea treatment until a few years ago when a certain pet store chain decided to stock it, with mixed responses from the vet community. The Australian Pet Barn chain has been selling it for sometime in their pet stores.
  5. you should, those yellow fighters i got from you ages ago where awsome!
  6. Great article, makes me want to get back into breeding fighters. Nice setup....looks familiar
  7. No this is slightly different, of which can't be mentioned here.
  8. Interesting but does this extend to pet/fish stores or only inter-clinic "relations"? Also, trained in what field/discipline? Thanks for that.
  9. My info is about 3 years old from when I worked in a vet clinic, but things could possibly have changed.
  10. Might pay to check with your local vets, pet/fish stores are NOT licensed to sell this product, though clearly several do at their own choice.
  11. Kelly Tarltons had them and apparently they were forever breeding but the fry had to be killed, as per some agreement on their license which restricted the number of fish they were allowed to keep. FYI, I don't suggest viewing them on Youtube.....not very nice videos with ghastly titles such "Mouse VS Piranha" and so on.
  12. I concur. It seems they don't even care about the tanks or animals and are only interested in trying to sell their over priced rubbish.
  13. LOL the Onehunga store tried to sell me a large coral piece for $60 at $80/kg. I obviously declined.
  14. The tanks were almost all empty and left looking untidy and those that were filled where absolutely dirty and this massive tank was filled but had brown algae in it and weird matter floating on the surface. Not too mention how bad the fish looked and the dead fish behind the tanks and on the floor. But what really got me going was that the asian guy who worked there was following me around like a dog and very, very close might I also add. I had to tell him to stop following me, I think I slightly embarrassed him?
  15. No idea don't go out that way, quite possible. There were stores all over Auckland but I think some are just grooming saloons, few closed down that I had visited over the months/year.
  16. Yes I had wondered if that was the case..... :nilly:
  17. Aye? Pet Stop is the stores name.
  18. Pet Stop Onehunga was mentioned in the post. The franchise is called "Pet Stop".
  19. Has anyone been to any of the remaining Pet Stop franchise stores? Had a rather odd and distressing experience in the Onehunga store today and interested to see what others have experienced. Ta.
