Yeah totally!!! Played Halo years ago on a PC...was great. And there are also some wicked Star Wars games that are not on PS3.

So got the "repaired" PS3 back, still free of charge and apparently works great....have not yet the courage to play it. When asked what the issue was, the repair guys said there was no reason for it stop....which is odd that a machine will just stop going...they also said that there is no reason why it should do it again. So, will probably sell it with some accessories and maybe few games and buy a newer edition system. Also, found out that data can be transferred from the old HD to the new one, after it's formatted to Fat 32. Very happy but have the strangest feeling of walking on egg shells.

Oh really? That is very useful to know....never bothered to look into that. Will it display items that will be sent to NZ but doesn't list the postage for that (our) specific country?

Try Amazon or Ebay. Amazon will ship most things and tell if they don't before you pay for the items and some Ebay sellers don't/won't ship to NZ. From my experience, shipping from Canada is very, very expensive and some people will have cheap items but a very, very large postage bill to make up for the "loss". Good luck.

Yeah you don't look well in your photo, maybe you should take the day off tomorrow?? Oh and good news, my "fix it guy" is going to repair the PS3 under their special service warranty (no charge) which is great since my insurance company didn't want to know. Phew!!!

Quiet? I hear they are very tight lipped about their console issues....even their repair place in Albany are quite vague about such issues.
