Does anyone know about Fluval 203 canister filters? Got one last year when I purchased a tank on Trade Me, among other crap, but can not seem to get the water flowing, salvaged hoses, spray bars and other bits from an old canister that died. I filled it up with water due to no obvious priming device. I have checked on Google and You Tube for visual aid but can see what I did wrong? Any ideas or perhaps a photo of it connected properly? Thanks in advance. Below is how I figure it is meant to be set up? Left hand side is connected to the water inlet and the right hand-side, disconnect as in photo, is the water outlet e.g. spray bar. Perhaps back to found? Either way it didn't work.

I gave up breeding fighters mainly due to lack of space and the poor quality of fighters that were being circulated (at the time). I was also fed up with people cross breeding different tail types, destroying strong genes and everyone's hard work. Not to mention the constant fights, stealing and demands for certain types and colours.

Yeah, the water waste did cross my mind. There was a similar design that came out 3-4 years ago but was green and much more expensive. Also, I imagine that most faucets are not threaded?

Right, so I have 2x pairs of Leleupi who dig, and dig, and dig but don't seem to be producing the "goods". Both pairs live at opposite ends of their tank with their own respective nests with plenty of space between them. What can/should I be doing differently to promote successful breeding? Should the pairs be in their own tanks or a bigger tank? Your thought please.

What was the out come? Not sure cats do this with thyroid issues, though I'm not a vet and doubt that there are any qualified vets that frequent here, prove me wrong
