  3. Wow Pearl is lovely, what sort of turtle is she?
  4. I hope you weren't referring to me as I would never use fish as feeder fish, I think its wrong.
  5. Thanks Ian, and advice is greatly appreciated. Should I not keep all the Angels together then? Maybe split them up somehow so they can pair off??
  6. aah yea I should've added that hubby had to be there (CHCH), anyway so I brought up large knowing that I could lol...and hes paying for the petrol
  7. wow neat, I didn't think I would be able to have them all in there, but if I can that would look fantastic! So I need more danios and neons?
  8. Gill plates?? Help me out a bit here lol, total noob!
  9. Okay so everywhere I read it says that res must be kept in warm water, my wee one is in 25 degrees. But I have noticed that he does not use his basking spot, which is easy to get too, bright and warm, the rest of the tank is not lit up at all, only his spot to encourage him to bask....but if his water is so warm and cosy for him, would he want to get out and bask?? Do turtles really need such warm water??
  10. Yes so expensive that I have brought my whole new lot of TM and I'm travelling to CHCH to pick them up lol. I was so excited at the cheap prices on TM.
  11. Okay thanks, but can I put everything else in there?? I have brought a tank which I thought I would have purely for Angels
  12. Oh lol, well that helps me a lot huh
  13. Evening all...so I have a lovely big 3ft tank (big for me lol), and currently I only have 3 Zebra Danios, 2 neon tetras and one angel fish in there. I have purchased the following fish, 10 small angels, 4 black skirt tetras, 6 black neons, 2 catfish, 6 golden barbs, 10 guppies. How many of these can I add to my tank without totally over stocking it? Just trying to get an idea of any extra tanks that I may need to have, thanks
  14. Yep sure is! And I actually think I paid $4.90 for mine.
  15. hERE Is a pic of my male and female black moors. Do they look ready to be breeding to you guys or is she just really fat lol? Thanks.
  16. I have Neon tetras with my big Angel with no hassles at all.
  17. wow our neons are over $4 each and guppies are between $9-$14!!! EACH! I would love to be able to get fish for $2.50 each. Pays to know the breeders huh.
  18. I done that last night for them and since then they have gone quiet and docile. He doesn't seem to be chasing her as much now?? Is it over lol.
  19. Cool thanks guys. Well no eggs as yet but still showing breeding behaviour, I'm pretty new to goldfish too but am really enjoying them
  20. um yeah I have plastic plants in the tank, should I put something else in there for her then? The male is really pushing her around now lol.
  21. Oh yay how neat, will my female lay eggs??
  22. Yeah I've just been watching them, the big one has a huge belly and is quite a bit bigger than the smaller one and the smaller one has tiny wee white spots near his gills that were not there when I got him??
  23. I have 2 blackmoors together in a tank, they are the only fish in there and this morning I noticed that the smaller one is almost stuck to the bigger one...everywhere the big one swims, the smaller is right behind nipping or sniffing at the bum area lol, like under the tail fins. Its still going on now. Any idea of what the little one is up too?? Is the big one going to get stressed by this constant following and 'sniffing'??
