No as far as I can tell hes just sitting on the floor, other guppies will come along and he will take off after them...but always goes back to the floor.

thank you, I thought it may have been a surinamensis I am wondering if the second one is a brasilensis??

I have just noticed one of my male guppies sitting on the bottom of the tank, he is alive but why is he just sitting on the floor??

I have just noticed that one of my young Axies has a full black head and a white body...looks real funny as I have never seen one like this before. Has anyone else??

Not the best pics but I have two Geophagus fish but i suspect they may be different species...but then again I would have no idea so I'm hoping to get some ID from here...heres the pics same fish again and my smaller one below the smaller one seems to show some intense black stripes and a black dot whereas the bigger one doesn't show any black markings at all...none that are very obvious at least.

I can only see 3 :oops: , I think maybe the others were lunch...hopefully they are just hiding. I have another 3 females that are currently carrying though.

Finally one of my girls dropped her babies, they are so tiny and I'm wondering if I should move them out of the tank?? I only have 11 guppies in the tank + the new fry. If I was to move them...how?? Thanks.

I was just wondering if anyone here gets their glass cut at a shop for their tanks and if so how much does this cost vs buying a complete made tank. I'm looking at getting a 5ft tank made, my husband can make it but I have no idea where to start looking for the glass or what this might cost us. Thanks.

Thanks for that guys/girls. I'll keep an eye on them, I have just put in another cave for her as I only had the one in the tank so now they both have somewhere to go. Geez its like having new babies lol.

Yeah Pumice would float so you would have to anchor it down somehow.
