Oh so it is stressed! Poor wee thing. How long does it take for them to adjust to a new home...will this stress be real harmful??

Hi all, I brought home my baby RES turtle yesterday, put him/her in the tank and I'm a bit worried as it is scuttling around all the time and I'm not sure if its normal or not?? Scuttling around in the water I mean, I have never owned a turtle before and I want to do everything right. Will my baby settle down or is it stressed?? Thanks.

one fish does have bits of its tail missing??

Oh and also, do these fish (angel fish) need an aquarium light or not?? They will be in quite a dark room because all my tanks are in one room and its quite dark for the Axolotls. Thanks again.

hi all. I have just purchased some Axlotls as I'm really keen to have these as pets. I have the tanks all ready to go but I am wondering if it is really necessary to have a filter in the tank?? I hear so much conflictin info I'm getting confused. Thanks.
