This isn't a good photo but these birds frequent out garden. I was wondering if they are Eastern Rosella or something else?

That is just fantastic. It is just amazing to think about all the changes that have occured during her lifetime. My great aunt is 106 and I could listen to her talk forever, she has so much wisdom, and puts her longevity almost entirely down to staying at Sunday School. :lol:

I currently have one white tube only but everything looks pretty yellowish and yuck. I am looking for a brilliant white light. Any advice? Are the lights about the same? :lol: I reckon the kiwi is a good choice for a national bird, because it is very distinct shape. When you see a silhouette of a kiwi there is no question what it is. There is no argument that tui and kokako are more beautiful birds but they have no distinct shape to them, sure they have obvious markings, wattle, etc which distinguish them from other birds, but no other bird is the same shape as a kiwi. So you can draw a stylised kiwi in one swift movement and everyone knows what it is.

That's fair enough although they certainly shouldn't have listings on Trade Me if that is the case. They should be waiting until they are organised.

I have bought a light from petplanet (tm user name) over a week ago and I still haven't heard anything, no bank details, etc. Has anyone else bought from these people? They have good feedback, but I thought I'd have the item by now, not be still waiting to hear from them!
