Yeah I really want to get some agassizii again because these ones are simply gorgeous! Best coloured ones in the country we've had so far !drool: If I didn't have that male Super Red then I could get some but I don't want to sell him because he looks really cool and he has a great character

Blackworms work really well to bringout the colours of fish and they are easy to culture and make a great staple food IME :thup:

I'm confused... Are you being sarcastic with your comment and taking this in a sick-humor kind of way because it appears that way by the text you quoted and the comment you wrote below it. I assure you I don't mean what I said in an inappropriate way. I just think my mum and sister are nicer people to be around because my dad swears a lot and he isn't very rational with some of the decisions he makes and he gets angry a lot.

I live with two! My mum and my sister. My sister can be snotty sometimes but that's because she is going through that stage where mind is all messed up, but she used to be awesome and hopefully when she gets older she will mature more and revert back to her old self. And my mum, she is the nicest person I know! I never look forward to my dad coming home in the weekends from Nelson where he works during the week. He's a really blokey-kinda guy and I don't get on with him very well, and I much prefer it when it is just my mum and my sister at home. I don't know how many times I have been offered alcohol, especially beer, by people including my parents. Of course every time I turn it down without hesitating. Water or tea for me - the taste of beer is almost as disturbing as touching rusty spoons... :lol:

I think the majority of females actually make far more sense than males. Most of the guys at school talk about video games, pornography, sex, drugs, alcohol and getting drunk. And some adult males I know like to stare at the television for extended periods of time drinking beer (one of the foulest things I've ever tasted in my life), or if they're not doing that then they're having conversations about tough and manly stuff and talking very loudly and swearing a lot in normal sentences that don't require cursing. Where is the logic in any of that stuff? :dunno: :lol:

Yes Licorice Gouramis are available in New Zealand. The species we have here is Parosphromenus bintan. I'm not sure if they are available in the shops anymore. I bought two males and three females which are all doing really well and are very healthy. I currently have some Apistogramma trifasciata with eggs so after I hopefully manage to breed them then I can have a go at the Licorice Gouramis.

Thanks so much I can't wait until I actually have my own DSLR. I'm definitely going to get something more fancy, but the Canon 400D is great to practice with and it isn't too complicated either.

I never said that there was anything wrong with Lego. Lego is awesome! I said that minecraft is like a lame version of Lego. Half the fun of Lego is being able to sit there and physically build something, whereas on minecraft everything is computer-generated

Nooooooo! I don't want to become a mindless computer game zombie :slfg: I was watching some kids watching a video about it on YouTube the other day and I just don't get it. It's like a lame version of Lego except in computer game form with incredibly poor pixelated graphics. If people like it then that's fine, but I just don't understand all the hype about it. It's pretty much all anyone ever talks about at school, which is annoying because sometimes I want to have a decent conversation with my friends but all they talk about is minecraft.

What is with this minecraft thing? Everyone at my school is obsessed with it! I just can't understand it at all :dunno:

Playing around with the Canon EOS 400D today

Stunning Double Reds and Cardinals !drool: They are incredibly healthy and good quality fish Your "rotala" under the spray bar is actually Ludwigia arcuata The Laetacara curviceps looks healthy. Some indiviuals do have a couple of black spots on the back. It is normal colouration.

Lilaeopsis novae-zelandiae. Might be best to seperate the plant into smaller pieces. Give it good lighting and some ferts and it should be fine

I can't seem to track down any drums, and there are a couple of places that might have them but its too far to walk but thats out of the question anyway because I wouldn't be able to carry a large drum back home on my own. I have repeatedly asked mum to take me to those two places over the last couple of weeks but she has been busy but she said she'll take me on Monday. Until I get this peat filter up and running, I cannot breed any tetras or the licorice gouramis because the tap water is too alkaline for them. On the plus side of things though, both female trifasciata have spawned in the 140L tank so I am going to move the rest of the fish into the 85L tank that I was going to breed the neons in.
