  1. Also remember to put "Live Tropical Fish Handle With Care" on top of the box, and also write "Do Not Chill" or something like that, because I heard a story on Fishkeepers where someone purchased a colony of Tropheus sp. and they all arrived dead. The guy spoke to the courier company and they said that they refrigerated the fish
  2. You have to take the box to the courier depot, and do it just before they close to insure that the fish are in the box for as little time as possible. Also you can put more water in the bag and more fish too. For small tetras/rasboras you could probably put up to 15-20 fish per bag depending on the size of the bag and fish. Those dwarf puffers are really small so you can put them all in the same bag.
  3. Once I get my peat filter system sorted then hopefully I will be able to get them breeding and you can have some if you want. But remember though that most of my breeding attempts result in failure so I can't promise anything
  4. The Licorice Gouramis were just a one off as far as I'm aware of.
  5. You could turn it into a blackwater tank with some Licorice Gouramis and Emerald Eye Rasboras or Mosquito Rasboras

    Xmas Wish list

There were some A. pertensis, and I really regret not buying them. Instead I got a pair of hongsloi and a pair of agassizii. The agassizii were nice but they were quite aggressive and kind of boring IMO, so I sold them to a guy in Nelson who wanted to breed them. And the female hongsloi died so I sold the male to Bilbo and then the male died as well :tears: So if the importers could get A. pertensis again then I would definitely buy them next time because they are a nice small Apisto so they should be compatible with my other fish

I think it would be almost impossible to get true Apistogramma viejita. Pretty much all viejita on the market are actually macmasteri. Real viejita are very rare and hard to come by, and all of them are wild caught unless you bought them from a hobbyist who has the real deal, and it is extremely unlikely that anyone in NZ is keeping them.

    Xmas Wish list

I thought they all sold out :dunno: I emailed a couple of shops in Christchurch when they were imported and they said that they were all gone and they couldn't get them again, and I haven't seen them since Also I suppose I could have narrowed down that list a bit more   :slfg:

    Xmas Wish list

It is extremely unlikely that they would ALL come in. I'm just putting up that list because they are some of the fish that I would be interested in, and if the importers could get one or two species in then that would be nice and I would buy them. Also I forgot to add, I would LOVE some Sundadanio axelrodi !drool:

I quite enjoy programmes with violence and nudity (not because I like looking at naked people  ) because they seem more realistic, if you get what I mean. I really enjoyed The Borgias which was another one of those medieval-type shows. There was lots of blood and battles and the plot was really interesting, and it gives you an insight to what life was like in those days

I love sci-fi programmes and I really love the concept of time travel and all that sort of stuff and I enjoy the plots of the episodes. I watched an episode of Game of Thrones and found it incredibly boring, and personally wouldn't want to bother reading the books. Each to their own
