  4. Definitely only use stainless steel wire for aquariums. This is where I got mine from: http://www.xcluder.co.nz/fencing-mesh-sales.html Costs $16.10 for a 100x30cm sheet of their "6 mesh". Excellent customer service too

No I'm serious. I had never heard of the term "CV" before in my life. I get the impression that I should be feeling very stupid right now  :slfg:

  9. Forgot to update. Earlier this week as I was about to move the fish into the other tank I realized that the male trifasciata had eaten the spawn again  :an!gry These fish are so frustrating :slfg:

No sorry I didn't I can go in to the gallery and do that for you this weekend maybe if I have time
  11. Excellent fish selection !drool: I love the Long Fin Bristlenose and the Rocket Pencilfish  Female Laetacara are shorter and more fatter than the males. Your one does look like a female, but the best way to ID them that I have found is the tip of the female's dorsal fin is round and not pointed like the male.
  12. John at Organism has Limnophila and Cryptocorynes and even bits of wood in the tanks and he still manages to do an excellent job at catching the fish  It all depends on the layout of the tank. The plants are at the sides leaving a large open space where the fish can easily be caught. And adding plants and wood makes the fishes feel safer in their environment, which means that they colour up a lot more and look a lot happier and are less likely to hide. The one thing that has always struck me when I walk into Organism is how colourful, healthy and lively everything looks.

Yeah that's the problem; because I had nothing to do I kept talking to everyone else and distracting them from their work :slfg: The exhibition opening went well, mainly because a lot of my teachers from school came and my teachers are all really awesome so I talked to them heaps. And luckily no strangers talked to me at all. Now I've just got to hope that some of my works sell sometime soon, so I have the money to buy some fish from Organism :happy2:

 I never said photography wasn't an art. I didn't go to the after school classes most of the time because I wasn't painting so I had no reason to be there. All I had to do was take photos and download them onto the computer, so when I went to the after school classes I had nothing to do.
  15. Wow those fish are amazing! Really cool tank Also best use for goldfish IMO
  16. Awesome moss tree, nice work

Just been to one of the local art galleries to help set up for an exhibition that is starting tomorrow. This is the result of the two year art class I have been doing after school. Although most of the time I didn't actually need to go after school because I was taking photos instead of painting like the other five students. I'm so nervous about the exhibition opening...

    The What's Up? thread.

All of my friends are males (there are no co-ed schools in Blenheim) and luckily at my school not all of the boys are immature and I can have good conversations with my friends sometimes, but a lot of the time it can be quite annoying because they talk about computer games quite a bit. But my friends don't go on about sport or porn and things like that which is good. And they're all nice people and have a great sense of humor. But was I was getting at is that most males don't make any sense. More than half of the people in my classes are the disruptive type that are always sending nude photos to each other on their phones and throwing things and yelling and talking about sport. In general, females seem to make much more sense than guys and are more logical in the way they think. Tried to talk to my dad many times with no avail. We always end up arguing again after the situation has supposedly been "sorted". I find it best to talk to him only when completely necessary otherwise I don't say anything to him at all. Also I have tried spirits before and they are repulsive. The only time I ever use alcohol is very occasionally in small quantities as a flavouring in some types of baking. I also hate orange juice unless it is freshly squeezed from an actual orange. Shop-bought stuff just does not taste the same as how oranges should taste
