    the only difference really between tropical and cold water basically is the heater, if you get a tank and understock it all you mostly need to do is feed them and a water change every now and again same as for cold water

    itl be a talk to the landlord thing, i have 6 in the lounge alone and landlord is happy as long as they under insurasnce, i rang up insurance to have them specified just in case

    all the chch stores will probably change a bit too as a few managers and people are moving round, as to fish specials they have a certain often good deal on a particular type of fish each week. oops speaking of animates, time for work haha

    and the juwels are made by robots you cant go wrong haha! there also a huge range of sizes etc that are available so can get one to suit your needs. most places should be able to order them in for you even if they dont stock them normally. great tanks highly recomended

    heya most mine get light flake that floats for a while, and the occasional bloodworm and they seem to be doing well

    you may get away with a pair in it but IMO would have to get rid of pretty much everything else other than a GBA or 2.

    from what i have found they work out similar cost depending on what components you want. im a canister filter fan so have custom on my tanks plus can get any size made. all depends on what you want it for

    in one particular case the lady has pH of about 6 in the tank and uses water of about 6.5 for water changes out of her tap sounds a bit odd to me and aparently has tried using shells etc to bring it up but to no avail

    ah k so if someones pH is out they have something quite wrong with their tank? the place i work has a big thing on pH which i dont understand as have never heard of it to be an issue, and they generally end up telling them to buy pH up or down chemical crap and they wonder why all their fish keep dieing

    just out of curiostity what affects the water pH? and any likely problems with pH in any chch water? its just a general inquiry nothing too specific. do all the chemicals like cycle and what not have any effect on the pH?
