  1. hmm il give the dems a bit longer and if they meant to happen will come along , failing that brichardi are cool or dafs as a big happy family could be fun
  2. as yeah only ones really ever seen around are juli, brichardi and lelupi that about it?
  3. well yeah if cant get any dems which is looking may happen at this stage and not really any other malawi options
  4. other not preferred option is to ditch the yellows and peacocks and then do a few more options open up again?
  5. yeah ideally would like dems but not having too much luck at moment, other than you dont know of anyone, and most ive seen in a lfs is 2 and about $25 each
  6. any other options to have other than demasoni, currently 6 young e-yellows and growing out a couple of peacocks to end up with hopefully 1 male, so have plenty of yellow in the tank so something of a much different colour would be good Oh tank is 160L, plenty hiding and swimming and a fluval 305 so no filtration issues
  7. sorry not meant to sound bad but cant wait too long otherwise others will be bit big to introduce lotsa littlies
  8. would imagine the cl2 would be in small enough amounts that wouldnt smell it and have no problems and just diffuse off
  9. so its study break and coffee consumption increases exponentially and was wondering if people had plunger coffee types they would recomend. ideally fair trade and organic(not so worried about)
  10. the terrible mark ellis adverts did the trick then
  11. ah not a clue, they are still small and just sexable so in theory virgin females
  12. breeding record? they have been in a tank for 2 days so not too much rush
  13. umm one lot is a black body with solid light blue fins, another lot look like almost endlers with the oval blotches of pinks greens reds and oranges etc. this is so far 8)
  14. from a quick look in a chem text book acetic acid relatively weak acid so wont dissosciate much, CH3COOH<->CH3COO- + H+ this will react with the Cl to make HCL but because HCl is a strong acid will readily dissosciate and react with water to make H3O+ and Cl-, so effectively neutralising the Cl2 to some extent as will cycle through the HCl to H3O+ etc
  15. i was regularly until dislocated my knee now its completely shot lived in ashburton so 1 hour and at the top of mt hutt was brilliant!
  16. yeah i tried that but mine all turned out to be tough/cunning/fast
  17. get a nice strain going and then you wont be just another guppy person, as lots just put them in a tank and let them go. a nice mostly pure strain is a bit more special
