  3. good, nobody wants to hear the long answer anyway then again if there actually was one then some might
  4. sorry i could have been clearer  yeah was meaning to get general temps and sizes etc, i generally look at as many as i can find and take an average sort of temp etc. but cant beat forums for peoples experiences etc, can also be helpful reading other forums on the web to see what people say
  5. personally id put the more expendible tougher fish in eg gupps, platy. then maybe the 2nd lot so they can establish themselves with hiding places etc then would go for the bettas once others settled and all cycled etc
  6. why not use propagation mix with any sand on top? they both easy enough to find
  7. good luck finding any, dont know of anywhere in chch that has it. i tried for weeks when set up my tank and had no luck
  8. http://www.fnzas.org.nz/fishroom/so-how-many-fish-can-i--vt1372.html 8) very handy when i first started out

  12. any more info on the tank? how many neons? and is it just the 4 gupps too? also any plants or hiding places? or just open tank?
  13. i got my stand for $2 at supershed, an oldschool steel framed desk. they have lots of random tables and chests that may work if you can get out there
  14. what about those pellets that can stick onto glass? if stuck them right at the water level they may have a look at it?
  15. plus they are big onto their safety now, could you even buy one with exposed springs now?
  16. more khulis and will see them more, more cories they always seem happier
  17. depends what trying to do with them. breeding ok, looking pretty bigger is better
  18. depends how big they are, i know of many knowledgeable fish people with dwarfs in 2ft no probs, such as fully grown bolivians etc. if they the only thing in their IMO would be ok
  19. keep an eye out for them as they must be about, was in at organism and he getting some in the next week or so
