    well i got my 2 ft tank set up with a thin layer of gravel and some pots and then the trio of dwarf cockatoos but they not looking impressed, any ideas to make it more homel and make them want to breed? preferably with minimal plants as it is not a lit tank

    well all depends on what look you are going for? like im attempting the amazon look with lots of swords etc but there are heaps of ways to do it. what fish are in there? base it around the area they come from might be cool

    some sort of apistogramma if you can come by any, they are similar to kribs but ive found less cranky

    as the title says, so ive got a 2ft bare bottom tank, cycled sponge filter in main tank 4 a week so do i put it in the tank with fish at same time or? sorry i just dont want to cock it up as they are really nice fish and dont want to lose them to a stupid mistake

    right now that the sponge filter has been cycling in the main tank for a week do i put it into the new tank with all new water and fish straight away or do i run it a couple of days and then add fish?
