    my blue rams arent very blue :-? is it a lighting thing that makes them shine or something to do with the fish or a mix of the 2? They look happy etc

    haha its ok caryl its just been a long day at work. ok so by the sounds of it it shouldnt matter much if they dont have a light on the tank which isnt bad as it saves me buying a light for it

    not really what i meant, does the extra light help them in a day night cycle a bit more normal for them as they are in the corner behind my other thank so it is quite dark, but it shouldnt matter?

    ive got a pair of apisto borelli in a 2ft tank currently unlit, with java moss and pots etc would getting some lighting for the tank make any difference to breeding? ie make it better for them to breed?

    would a 2 ft breeding tank with a third partitioned of for a pair and the other 2 thirds for growout be a suitable setup rather than having multiple smaller tanks?
