    new tank has about 2cm bracing all around the top, how would i attack the intake and outlet as they seem to be a clip onto the edge system?

    um its 45 deep, 50high and 3ft long, at this stage planning on rumminose, 2 discus, dwarf cockatoos, blue rams and few ohter bits and pieces

    bugger getting tank today and completely forgot about getting polystyrene for under it, and suggestions for best place to look in chch?

    you should be sweet with just the blackout, but med wud be handy to have in case anyway

    get rid of as much as can by hand then put in complete blackout for a few days

    ya might be pushing it with that, my pair are in a 47L and chase each other round all the time and the female still gets a little battered, there probably wouldnt be the room for the female to hide if she needs to

    i had mine in with bout 10 neons til they all died, now in with glowlights and various small rasboras and it fine
