  1. just got a good fright was sitting at the computer and felt something like a small mouse wriggling in my pocket ( yes you can insert the jokes here) slowly put my hand in my pocket and pulled out a brown furry slug about an inch long(insert more jokes) picked a cocoon of the emperor moth off the tree this morning thinking it was dead, no way is now pumping up his wings on the curtain seemingly no worse from the day in my pocket
  2. is that a picture of the cage now to keep ants out, stand cage legs in tins of water or turps or antkiller to keep them out

  4. the emperors are cocooning now some of the caterpillars are 5 inches long
  5. yes its a thai spider about 6 inches the way ive mounted it just shipped a bolivian blue leg tarantula out 8 inch span have another rehydrating these large spiders are hard to soften
  6. just finished drying, wouldn,t have it in my hand if it was alive probably one of the more agressive spiders

  10. stop taking that morphine oscar big fish require big tanks, usually end up a problem for most people not as many people have big tanks also require other big fish, as big fish eat little fish, except the vegetarians
  11. found 15 eggs in their laying box didnt notice they had laid and mix had got a bit dry so eggs weren't the best. no worries the female in photo and the bigger one are carrying again so better luck next time

  15. the abdomen is usually fuller, this is a dead specimen
  16. i think reptiles are called being "Gravid" when carrying young
  17. not bad david does look similar laymans terms call it a tarantula but it really isnt
  18. thought the game might last a bit longer i'll try another but i want the scientific name as well from the proffs out there
