  1. he should of sold, it bought another smaller one, fed it up, then he could of pocketed the change
  2. mosquito fish aren't that good at eating mosquito larvae, just killing tadpoles, fry of goldfish and native fish and inverts
  3. changing subject oscar looked after a croc in port macquarie, aus, she was called big mama billed as being 20 feet long, she was actually 16 1/2 feet long also hunted them in northern territories for a while

David Attenborough was prolonged exposure though as a kid on the way to school in chch found a large bumblebee intact dead on the foot path biked to school with it in my hand got into class and had to stand while teacher came in, so to hide it, put into the pocket of my baggy shorts, we were then told to sit down well as i sat down the pocket tightened and wham the most intense pain in the thigh and it kept stinging jumped up and pulled the shorts down to stop the stinging teacher was going to cane me for down trowing in front of class until he saw the size of the bumble bee that crawled out of my pocket 8)
  12. now there is a lizard that i had in aussie hard to keep fed though in aussie we put turps in the tins, ants wouldn't try to bridge it any of the more agressive ants can kill the geckos or lizards not just the argentinian ones they can get in the ear passages

  14. just got a good fright was sitting at the computer and felt something like a small mouse wriggling in my pocket ( yes you can insert the jokes here) slowly put my hand in my pocket and pulled out a brown furry slug about an inch long(insert more jokes) picked a cocoon of the emperor moth off the tree this morning thinking it was dead, no way is now pumping up his wings on the curtain seemingly no worse from the day in my pocket
  15. is that a picture of the cage now to keep ants out, stand cage legs in tins of water or turps or antkiller to keep them out

  17. the emperors are cocooning now some of the caterpillars are 5 inches long
  18. yes its a thai spider about 6 inches the way ive mounted it just shipped a bolivian blue leg tarantula out 8 inch span have another rehydrating these large spiders are hard to soften
  19. just finished drying, wouldn,t have it in my hand if it was alive probably one of the more agressive spiders
  20. got one of those in my collection, more of an orange colour though
  21. name supplied from overseas wholesaler is eurypelma spinicrus though after research there is some dispute over that
