yes spoon should probably be an upper size limit on them
the younger ones are best tasting but the older ones have to much mana to kill them

yes constructed the tank, cut down a large water tank
cut it with a chainsaw, marked it for height i wanted
laid it on its side then rolled as i cut
best laugh was pulling the top off my son after it flopped on him
then cut top edge out to put back on base
tried open top but too much alge
so put top back on

i think it is when they stop feeding and their eyes get bigger, most of the big ones in the stream have eyes like that

one of the customers today is a keen hunter and eel fisher
i had the water level down to try to clear the algae in the water
i said i needed a photo to get a relative size of the big girl, so he said he would get in for me while i took the photo, he's about 6 foot 2
he then picked one up and said it's about 12kg
i said thats not the one, so he looked some more and found her
but couldn't hold her properly
he estimates about 20kg and the biggest he has seen
some of the others wanting a feed

Latest update:- the lady who purchased the tank recieved a cheque today for a full refund, she is waiting until it clears before ringing and thanking the shop in question
