i keep 2, 3 and 4 inch puffers in my quite salty brackish tank with other species of mono, archerfish and ruby scats with no trouble so far, 2 yrs + lost another one 5 months ago, lump of coral fell on it, found it after 3 days dead and starting to go off, no problems with other fish just my experiences

i have sat and watched the tuis beat them up -
the heater guards are made of a more heat resistant plastic the plastic bins make good sumps too

the start of all this was a guy in auckland releasing about 30 birds then crowing about it :evil: -
i put them on a sand base then sand over again slowly heats over a wider area with astroturf for lizards, just sand for the locusts
