    the insurance definition maybe, if the tank has an external force that breaks it, it is covered under accident or wilful damage but if a tank just explodes while sitting there it is manufacterers fault or an act of god so if your tank breaks then probably you fell on it or bumped it

    i have some 10 year old chickens that still produce eggs but only seasonally

    i use a dark gravel about 2-4 mm, about 15cm deep, i/2 tank wih rocks to contain in place then filled the other 1/2 with water almost level with gravel different types of java fern for the low lights i have on tank mosses on land, some java has grown emersed now

    yes have done it before, young birds can mend but adult birds required some stainless steel wiring harder on a hookbeak

    i had a problem with my large pond going green and used a large uv unit on it but still had problems i ended up using TLC freshwater S.A.T a product used by our local council to treat large settlement ponds in the area, it solved my problem this should be available through your local fish shop this is their webpage with different pond treatments http://www.tlc-products.com/pages/7/index.htm

    if it was the ph i would expect you to have problems with nearly all the fish, i dies 3 still alive, 2 new gouramis 1 alive 1 dies from poss bact infection how long has log been in there? are you doing regular water changes?

    i have run big plecs an bichir together no probs personally i couldn't see a bichir sitting there and taking a plec sucking on it but who knows i see some posts on MFK stating that
