thought all you bird guys would have known about PBFD wasn't here until some people smuggled some birds in from aussie a few years ago and then people moan about our strict bio security can be passed on by handling or walking around an infected bird then walking into your shop or home the word is, claim, to have treated budgies look for birds with overgrown of flaky beaks and toenails and no flight or tail feathers there was a few expensive birds in auckland sold for cheap a few years back came out of infected aviaries

i have a spa heater and the gas could be done as well winter will still provide a little heat with solar but not enough i have a wetback that can be used as well

excellent ideas the 3,000l aro tank i heated with 25m of thick walled alkathene in summer had to watch it didn't heat too much though winter would be a different proposition tank will be half inside with polystyrene on outside big acrylic windows inside other tank will be 9m concrete construction will look at solar heating systems ira and the aqua therm arapaima, stingrays and breeding reds would be nice

you can house the jar and grow it on seperately for awhile in the 8 footer you may just end up only housing the jar though by the time it grows bigger your plans may change a few of the jars for sale will reappear next year fr sale when some come to regret that impolse buy mine came out of a 620T at less than retail ones now, was originally bought for 450 and passed through a few hands my favourite fish
