  2. maybe enough ammonia to start your tank cycling
  3. using it straight away may have been better maybe enough time for anaerobic bacteria to get going
  4. i always ask when i sell fish what tank they are going in, acclimation process and try to gauge if the buyers experience level suits the fish have refused to let fish go until the buyer has set up a bigger or better tank system or even refunded money then given fish away to more experienced keeper

  7. there are some fine bones in there, it may have as you said done it while fighting and has jammed the front lip bone, you may find the ends of this bone has locked onto the inside of their normal location position some times it is as easy as using some tweezers and pulling the lip forward and letting the bone drop back into place first pic i found from fishing fury

  16. personally i would keep the temp up and just wait some reps will go into hibernation or brumation at this time of the year no matter how warm they are the drop in temp may have triggered this and it may take a little while for them to get back to normal so long as they are active you can offer food, but if they are not that active don't worry about feeding them
